About Hikingtop Pest Control
Get connected with a provider
Who We Are
Hikingtop Pest Control is a referral service for homeowners in the Knoxville area. When you have a pest, termite or wildlife problem, we connect you with an independent local provider who can inspect the home and give you a written estimate. We do not do pest control work ourselves.
Why We Started
A lot of people think finding a pest provider is easy. In practice, it takes time to figure out who serves your area, who handles your type of problem and whether a quote is fair. Many homeowners also run into the same myths again and again, such as "bug bombs fix everything" or "termites only hit old houses." We set up Hikingtop Pest Control to give people the plain facts and an easy way to reach a local provider.
How Matching Works
When you send a request or call, we look at your location and the kind of help you need. We then connect you with an independent provider who serves that area and handles that work, or with a marketing partner who works with such providers. The provider contacts you directly to talk it through and set up a visit.
What We Expect From Providers
We expect providers in our network to explain their findings clearly, give written estimates and never pressure homeowners to sign on the spot. We expect them to hold the licenses and insurance their work requires and to follow pesticide labels and wildlife rules. When homeowners report repeated problems with a provider, we may stop sending them requests.
What We Do Not Do
Hikingtop Pest Control does not treat homes, trap animals or apply termite products. We do not employ or supervise providers. We do not set prices or promise how quickly a provider will arrive. Those details come from the provider, and they can change with the season and the type of job. When you get an estimate, the price and schedule on it are the provider's, and any questions about them go to the provider directly.
How We Are Paid
Hikingtop Pest Control may be paid by providers or marketing partners when we connect them with homeowners. You pay nothing to us. You pay the provider directly for any work you agree to, at the price the provider sets. Our referral disclosure page explains this in more detail.
Compare Before You Commit
You never have to hire the provider you speak with. Get the estimate, compare it with others if you like, and decide in your own time. If you want to talk first, request a callback to check provider availability.
